68th Annual Litchfield Watercade- Center Bank Brat Feed Huge Success

The 68th Annual Litchfield Watercade has come and gone.  The Center Bank Brat Feed was a huge success with us serving about 1300 guests..  Mathew Lease performed along with some Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat songs presented by cast members from Litchfield's Community Theatre.  We're so glad you celebrated with us.

Congratulations to the new Miss Litchfield, Addie Lundin and her princesses, Kate Brekke and Maya Wuotilla!

Tuesday Tips!

Center Bank's Facebook page will now offer Tuesday Tips as a means of helping you protect yourself and your personal information.  Hackers and Scammers are out there, just waiting to trick you.  These people want your money and will stop at nothing to try and obtain information from you.  Each week we will list a new tip for you.

On Wednesday, August 14th, Vibrant Broadband will be hosting a Hackers, Scammers & AI event for all people wanting to learn more about protecting themselves from online threats and how to guard against hackers and scammers.  The event starts at 5:30 and will be held at Litchfield Meeker Cooperative. All are welcome to attend.

Community Champion

Center Bank has again be recognized by the Minnesota Bankers Association as a Community Champion. In Litchfield, a hamburger fundraiser was held in September which abled donations to be made to the Litchfield Sheriff's Department for their drone program and to the Meeker County Food Shelf in their continued efforts to help Meeker County residents with food.  Each organization received $2,750.00.  The Plymouth location contributed personal products to Every Third Saturday.  Every Third Saturday fosters hope and supports post traumatic growth for veterans.  The Chaska location volunteered at Feed My Starving Children helping pack 42 boxes, representing 9,072 meals along with being a sponsor of the inaugural Celebration of Philanthropy Dinner for Carver County.

Scams are on the Rise!

Scammers are out there trying to get you to give them your money in any way they can.  Some current scams are:  Social Security Scams, Phone Scams, Romance Scams, Phishing Scams and Unemployment Scams, just to name a few.  The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has several videos that you can watch for free showing how fraudsters try to manipulate you to hand over your money.  You can clink on the link below to view them.
